CLASS DESCRIPTIONS

 

For Everyone

Butt & Gut: Tired of doing the same basic crunches, sit-ups, squats and lunges? In this Butt & Gut class, you will be lead through a variety of exercises designed to work your entire abdominal and glute area. You’ll build muscles you never even knew you had, while developing core strength and the butt everyone admiresJ

 

Pilates- is a body conditioning routine that seeks to build flexibility, strength, endurance, and coordination without adding muscle bulk. In addition, Pilates increases circulation and helps to sculpt the body and strengthen the body’s “core” or “powerhouse” (torso). People who do Pilates regularly feel they have better posture, are less prone to injury, and experience better overall health.

 

Cardio Pump- This early morning class is designed to wake you up and get the heart rate a pumping!   The class is designed around you. Be prepared to kick and have fun. Be ready to tone and prepare for your day!  You will walk out with a smile.

 

CARDIO Burn with Core (cycle class)-  This is a great class for anyone who likes to mix things up! Come and enjoy a cycle class and intense a workout with enjoyment of the abs. Be prepared to mix it up! Guaranteed a great workout for all those trouble areas!.    

 

Cycle- Cycling class done on stationary bikes with resistance adjusted to your level. More than just a workout! Combines a foundation of basic cycling movements, motivational coaching techniques and breathing awareness. Cycle is an excellent way to get a cardio workout and exercise your legs! The last ten minutes of class is an intense ab workout.

 

YOGA- Yoga is a form of exercise that uses slow movements and stretching. It is good for increasing flexibility and balance.  It is also good for relieving stress and relaxing. As you exercise, you meditate on what your body is feeling and try to be “one with the universe.”

 

Yogalates- Yogilates. Yoga lattes? Don’t let the name confuse you. There’s a new trend out there, and it’s not on the Starbucks menu. The class practices specific postures and emphasize correct breathing. Yogalate’s emphasize meditative mindfulness.

 

Step/Kick Box- Wow, a class designed to end with a kick! This class is a mix of Step & Kickboxing. Step/Kick Box is designed to tone, burn and have fun. Try it out or miss out! YOUR Choice!

 

ZUMBA-  Zumba is a cardio dance class that uses dance themes that create a dynamic, exciting, effective fitness system! The routines feature aerobic/fitness interval training with a combination of fast and slow rhythms that tone and sculpt the body. It is a mixture of body sculpting movements with easy to follow dance steps. 

Active Older Adults 60+

Chair Yoga:  This class emphasis is on strength and flexibility. Chair yoga combines all without holding every pose for a long period of time.  You will feel refreshed and enlightened when you walk out of this class

 

Fit for you- is designed to give you energy, strength and flexibility. Range of motion with a 50/60 flare!  You will laugh and realize what your body has been missing.  A time to reflect on YOU!

Movement for You- is designed for the new exerciser. You can start where you are and progress at your own pace.  Motion/Balance/Flexibility/Posture/Strength. Small groups in a safe environment with expert instruction and individualized attention.

8 week session specialty class

Boot Camp- 1st day is your weigh-in with a fitness assessment and fitness challenge. Fitness should be a way of life for everyone. It is a daunting task for anyone to start and stick to a regular training program. This is why there are options for those that want to lose weight, get fit, have fun in a motivating environment like boot camp. Boot camp provides a safe environment for the attendees to feel comfortable, motivated, feel the burn and get into shape. Each day you will be surprised of what muscle group you have worked!
